| I'm a real estate investor. As a writer I concentrate on the 10 minute play writing. My most recent play, "No, Please! Please, No!" is about prisoners who do not want to be released and the attempt to change their thinking and save their souls. I submit this play to artistic directors when the opportunity presents itself. At one point I thought I was a comedian. So, I went to the New York comedy clubs, you know, the ones where the customers drink beer, talk amongst themselves while I'm on stage doing my comedy. I wasn't funny anyway (smile). Then it came to me! I'll sing songs of love. But I could never earn any money doing so. I auditioned and passed to sing a song at The World's Famous Apollo Theater Amateur Night in February 1994. I used the stage name Bobby Taylor. I was booed off the stage. It wasn't my night. (smile). In 1996 I was given the chance to act on stage. I played the part of the bartender and the part of the football coach in the play, "It's Never Too Late, Baby!" performed at Medgar Evers College Auditorium in Brooklyn, NY. The play was a success.
