Daphne Clarke-Hudson is a Certified Professional Speaker. Ms. Clarke- Hudson is recognized nationally for her Motivational and Keynote presentations. In her role as an empowerment specialist for more than twenty years, she has empowered numerous individuals to fulfill their true-life passions by becoming Mary Kay sales directors, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, social workers and community activists.

Ms. Clarke-Hudson is a certified facilitator for the Parent Leadership Training Institute for the Connecticut Commission on Children and the Family Development Credentialing Program of the Connecticut Children’s Trust Fund. She is presently the President and CEO of Clarke-Hudson & Associates LLC, located in New Milford and Brookfield, Connecticut. This consulting firm works with individuals and organizations to fulfill their visions.

Clarke-Hudson & Associates LLC’s mission is to help people and organizations succeed in the changing world of work through improved communications, by increasing productivity and transforming negative attitudes into positive action to enhance employee and client relationship. By educating people in the techniques needed to tap into their authentic selves, Clarke-Hudson & Associates enables them to achieve their ultimate purpose and passion.

For the past five years, Ms. Clarke-Hudson has been the empowerment specialist for the Federal Correctional Institute for women in Danbury, Connecticut. She has made numerous speaking engagements throughout the tri-state region for profit and not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Clarke-Hudson was the keynote speaker for the annual Go On Girl Book Club Conference.

She has been a motivational speaker and trainer for The United Way of Greater Hartford, The Connecticut Conference on Volunteerism, The Western Connecticut Volunteer Organization, DOVA of Western Connecticut, Sterling House Inc., Danbury Children’s First Inc., NOW Inc., of Greater Waterbury, The Lions Club, The Kiwanis Club, The Rotary Club, The Jaycees. Faith Based Organizations, she is also a faculty member for Frasernet Power Networking Organization, and many other agencies and companies.

Ms. Clarke-Hudson is currently working on the incorporation of The Marriage and Relationship Network of Western Connecticut (MRNWC). This community based initiative seeks to help couples, who have chosen marriage for themselves, gain greater access to marriage education services, on a voluntary basis, where they can acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to form and sustain a healthy marriage.

Ms. Clarke-Hudson has received numerous accolades, awards and honors for her wide range of community involvement and commitment. Her numerous recognition includes appointment by The Interreligious and International Federation as an Ambassador for World Peace (IIF-WP); She was recognized for her excellence of leadership by the IIF, which was presented to her on Capitol Hill. She received two Proclamations from the State of Connecticut General Assembly for Community Service and her education of Parents to be advocates for their children. She was a 2002, 2003 and 2004 Honoree for the International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women for Significant Career Achievements and Contributions to Society.

In addition, Ms. Clarke-Hudson is an honored participant of the Korea, Japan and the United States in the Pacific Era International Leadership Conference held in Washington, D.C., with representation from eight-nine (89) different countries. In recognition of her accomplishments and dynamic spontaneity, Ms. Clarke-Hudson was sought out to perform as Mistress of Ceremony at the highly acclaimed C4C Learning Center and T-House Conference where U.S. attorney Willie E. Gary was the featured speaker.

Because of her passion for diversity, she founded the Multi-Cultural Parents Day and the Parent-to-Parent Buddy System in the City of Danbury Connecticut. She is also the state coordinator for the Echanges Culturels Internationaux Program. She continues to impact the different communities through her involvement on various boards, such as, HUSKY Connecticut, The Connecticut Conference on Volunteerism, The Community Health Center of Danbury, The Volunteer Center of Western Connecticut, Advisory Board of the American Biographical Institute, Advisory Board of The Character Education Committee of Danbury Public Schools, Advisory Board of The Truancy Committee of Danbury Public School, The Design Team of Danbury Children’s First Parent Leadership Institute and copious numbers of others.

Ms. Clarke-Hudson has recently co-authored a book, “Conversations On Success.” She has been featured in numerous newspaper and magazine articles in the Greater Danbury area such as Health Bridge Magazine, The News Times, The Spectrum, and The Republican. She has been the guest on numerous radio and television talk shows throughout Connecticut and New York City.

Ms. Clarke-Hudson demonstrates her leadership in the community by her participation on the board of directors of several organizations. And membership of Danbury Chapter NAACP, Rotary Club, The Minority Business Association of Fairfield County, The Power Networking Organization, National Association of Female Executives, and Faith Church of Connecticut.
