Well you might first ask why would you want your customers to fall in love with you?  The first question is why quickly followed by how, and then you may ask who, when and where.  Tune in to this blog for the entire series that will answer each of those questions.  We'll deal with one question at a time (one per note).

Let's move from the customer context into the t raditional intimate relationship context to illustrate the point.  This will hopefully make sense to those of you who have either been in love, or have had someone in love with you.

What happens when someone loves you?

  • They smile when you call them
  • They are happy to speak with you
  • They enjoy being with you
  • They tell all their friends about you
  • They want to introduce you to others
  • They look for more opportunities to spend time (do things) with you
  • They are happy to help you however they can
  • They have your best interest in mind (sometimes even ahead of their interests)
  • They forgive you

No, let's move back to the customer context.  Who wouldn't want your customers to be like that above?  Wouldn't that be great if not just a few of your customers were "in love" with you and your product or service, but what would it be like if as many of your customers as possible were "in love" with you?  In the next note, we'll talk about how to make your customers "fall in love with you".
